Oliver Creek Farm wishes to share with you nearly 4 acres of bench pasture land with a salmon spawning stream, a small market garden and forest wild plants!

This week at Oliver Creek Farm we shall prepare for our December Garden Gnome Christmas farm-stand sales. We are busy making wreaths, driftwood gnomes, mobiles, wee potted Christmas Gnome trees, signs and decorating our farm gate. Come by, Shop locally!

November finds salmon spawning in the creek, while elk and deer walk past our cabin. The bear has been sleeping in the old wood cattle feeder that was left by the original farmer. Elk love to eat the nettle roots all winter long. It is a rainy month with few sunny days. Yet warm enough to continue planting our Russian garlic and Fava beans; and harvest our Potatoes and Jerusalem Artichokes.

In August we seeded kale, beets, chard, peas, lettuce and are enjoying them in soup and salad. Our first bed of garlic has been planted. Thank you to Shanti! We continue to harvest leeks and brussel sprouts, cabbage, and fresh raspberries!
