The home is still in the busy phase of completion to meet occupancy…interior floors, painting, cabinets etc. Sometime in May we hope we can move in!

The garden loves the rain! The apricots started blooming against the warming wall. Spring flowers and greens have begun. We have lots of clean up still to do and then planting. Our starts have now four leaves and we will transplant them into larger containers individually and put them into our mini greenhouse.

We are making willow water for the transplanting. The dandelion flowers are popping up and greens are added to salads including: dandelion leaves, chervil, baby kale, sorrel. We continue to pick Nettles and plan to make some nettle pesto and freeze it in ice cube trays. https://www.gettystewart.com/how-to-make-stinging-nettle-pesto-wild-edibles/#recipe
